Stakeholder Consultative Workshop Highlights Draft EBDN Strategic Plan
Addis Ababa, July 28, 2026 – The Ethiopian Business and Disability Network (EBDN) prepared and hosted a Stakeholder Consultative Workshop at Eliliy Hotel, bringing together government representatives, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), trade unions, and private sector partners.
The central program of the workshop was the presentation of the draft EBDN Five-Year Strategic Plan (2026–2030). Grace Consultancy facilitated the presentation, which outlined the plan’s six pillars: membership growth, inclusive employment services, policy advocacy, institutional governance, financial sustainability, and knowledge management.
Participants actively engaged in discussions, offering recommendations and advice to strengthen the draft plan. Their contributions are expected to play a vital role in shaping the final validation and documentation of the Strategic Plan, ensuring it reflects collective expectations and advances disability inclusion in Ethiopia’s labor market.
This workshop marks a significant milestone in EBDN’s development journey, reinforcing its commitment to building a more inclusive and sustainable future.
